Yongchang Bridge

Yongchang Bridge is a Ming bridge on what is now Wangjing Street, Yongyang Subdistrict, Lishui District. In the notice of the Lishui District People's Government on the third batch of district-level protected sites (Li Zheng Fa [2017] No. 197) the bridge is recorded as Ming, at the place then named as Yongyang Town, Wangjing Street; the address here uses the current form, Yongyang Subdistrict.

The district list gives only the level, period and location. It gives neither the number of arches nor the span, neither the waterway crossed nor any repairs. The notices for the first and second district batches have not been traced, so no other district listing can be inferred from this document.

Entry to be expanded. This is a skeleton entry: at present it guarantees only that the fields and sources are complete. Still to be added: the number of arches and the span, the waterway crossed, the dates of construction and repair, the relation between Wangjing Street and the bridge's name, and the condition of the surviving structure.
