Putang Bridge

Putang Bridge is a Ming dynasty stone arch bridge over the Putang River in what is now Honglan Subdistrict, Lishui District. It was listed in 2013 in the seventh batch of Major Historical and Cultural Sites Protected at the National Level. A People's Daily report of 2015 noted that of the many old bridges in the Nanjing area, only two are national-level protected sites, and Putang Bridge is one of them.

Entry to be expanded. This is a skeleton entry: at present it guarantees only that the fields and sources are complete. Still to be added: the number of arches and their spans, the dates of construction and of successive repairs, the relation between the bridge's name and the place name Putang, the condition of the surviving structure, and the gazette notices for the provincial and national listings. Until then, no unverified structural data will be entered.
